Achievements

Every badge from every page in one neon cabinet. Earned trophies glow, locked ones wait as silhouettes, and pages you haven't opened keep their badges hidden until you do.

How it works

Every page with badges keeps two small lists in this browser's storage: the ids of the badges you have earned, and the names and descriptions of all its badges, written the first time you open the page. Nothing is sent anywhere. The cabinet reads both lists for every project in the site's project list and puts each page on a shelf in its series, its main tag.

Everything read back is checked: only known pages, short plain-text ids, capped names, and earned ids that the page actually defines. It is shown as text, never as markup. A page you haven't opened yet hasn't written its list, so its shelf stays hidden and its badges don't count towards the totals until you visit.

Pages only store which badges you have, not when, so the cabinet keeps its own note of when it first saw each one. That is how it spots new badges (they sparkle once) and the latest one. Within a page, badges are stored oldest first, so the last one is the newest. The next easiest page is the visited page with the fewest badges still locked.

Dozens of small pages, one shelf each, and the whole site turns into a set to collect.

complete = Σ earnedₚ / Σ knownₚsummed over visited pages p; hidden pages add nothing until opened
arc = 2πr × earned / knowneach ring's lit stroke, drawn with a dash of that length
next = argminₚ (knownₚ - earnedₚ)over visited pages with badges left; ties go to the one furthest along

Clear every badge?

This removes all badges from this browser, on every page of the site. It can't be undone. Export first if you want a record.
